Sparks, Nevada. Salary: USD $40.25/Hr. – USD $61.00/Hr.
Northern Nevada Medical Center is a 124‑bed acute‑care hospital located on 23 hillside acres at 2375
E. Prater Way in Sparks, Nevada. This full‑time ICU RN position provides safe, competent nursing care for critically ill patients and offers full benefits.
- Construct and implement nursing care plans using nursing knowledge and skill, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities.
- Coordinate the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develop goals, treatment and discharge plans that meet patient and family needs.
- Consistently complete hourly rounds to strengthen communication, improve safety, and anticipate patient needs (pain, repositioning, toileting).
- Support and inform patients and families about the Patient Centered Care Delivery model including open medical record policy, family visitation, and quiet environment.
- Current Nevada nursing license.
- At least one year of critical care nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification (or obtained within six months of hire).
