Location: Sparks, NV.
Pay range: $27.73/hr - $47.36/hr.
Full‑time nights with sign‑on bonus and relocation support.
About the ER at Spanish SpringsThe ER provides 24/7 emergency care, treating life‑threatening injuries and less urgent cases. It is staffed by emergency‑trained physicians, nurses, imaging and laboratory personnel and offers advanced technology, ample parking, and a wide range of capabilities.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, consult with specialists, and adjust nursing processes to ensure optimal patient care.
- Perform head‑to‑toe assessments on all patients and conduct reassessments per policy (pediatric, adolescent, geriatric, and general populations).
- Use the triage process to ensure timely care, accurately assigning triage categories.
- Monitor hemodynamic status, interpret results, and respond quickly to changes in condition or treatment response.
- Assess and re‑assess pain, employ appropriate pain‑management techniques, and educate patients/families on pain relief.
- Coordinate care planning with other disciplines and communicate with ED physicians regarding changes in patient status.
- Current NV RN license.
- 2–3 years of experience in the emergency department (preferred) or critical care or extensive EMS background.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire).
- Current PALS certification (within 6 months of hire).
