This Cook opportunity is available as Full Time, Part Time, or per diem.
Job SummaryUnder the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the cook performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties. The cook will prepare appropriate food items for hospital patients, staff, and visitors according to recipes.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve meals following standardized recipes and menus; ensure proper food quality, portion control, and presentation; maintain sanitation and safety standards in accordance with hospital policies; assist with dishwashing and related kitchen duties as needed.
Qualifications- One to three (1-3) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Serv Safe Certification preferred within 6 months of hire.
