As a Security Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor access points and manage badge control to help maintain a secure environment. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter security‑related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service. • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site‑specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and managing entry and exit points for personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
• Monitor security‑related systems and equipment, such as cameras and alarms, to help deter unauthorized activities within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Provide customer service by assisting individuals with inquiries and directing them as needed while maintaining site‑specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Document and report security‑related incidents, unusual activities, and maintenance needs according to Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements.
• Collaborate with site personnel and emergency responders during situations that require coordinated action.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid guard card or security‑related license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
