As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, technology spaces, entry points, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit processes.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.

+ Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least one year of security-related experience.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
