As a Dispatch Security Professional at a utilities location, you will coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and support timely responses to security-related needs. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.

+ Monitor dispatch communications, receive and document calls, coordinate requests for assistance, and relay relevant information to appropriate personnel.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established notification and escalation protocols.

+ Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, visitor or contractor records, and other required documentation.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of utility facilities, operational areas, and perimeter locations as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
