Komatsu is recruiting a Field Technician to work at our Sparks, NV location.

• Maintain an annual repair efficiency of at least 85%.
• Ensure rework hours remain under 3% of billed hours.
• Adhere to standard repair times and achieve balanced scorecard goals.
• Prioritize safety and comply with all regulations.
• Manage documentation and implement contamination control measures.
• Provide accurate quotes and excellent customer service.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, testing all repairs thoroughly.
• Thoroughly test and validate the functionality of all repairs made and adjustments performed.
• Apply general failure analysis procedures for effective troubleshooting and diagnosis of complex issues.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Associate Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Flexibility to accommodate various work schedules, including shift work.

Skills:

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in basic arithmetic and computer skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
• Mechanical knowledge.

• Certification to operate a forklift and/or manlift required.
• MSHA certification and respirator certification may be necessary.
• Possession of a basic mechanics toolset required.

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $NA. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
