Assistant Roofer

As an Assistant Roofer I, you’ll support experienced crews while learning installation techniques, safety practices, tools, and jobsite operations. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who are dependable, safety-focused, and eager to learn.

• Assist with jobsite setup, preparation, and teardown.
• Perform basic roofing installation tasks including insulation placement, coverboard installation, membrane handling, fastening, trims, coping cap, reglet, and counter flashing.
• Carry, stage, and organize materials, tools, and equipment on the jobsite and roof.
• Support experienced roofers with installation, preparation, cleanup, and material handling tasks.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment.
• Follow company safety procedures and participate in required training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Construction or roofing experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move roofing materials and equipment.
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
