Forklift receiving warehouse Vista

Spherion Staffing Reno is recruiting for a temp to hire workers for receiving role for commissary warehouse located in Sparks, NV off Vista Blvd.

Temp to hire position

Mon - Weds 6:00am - 03:30pm with unpaid 30 minute meal 9 hrs x 3

Thursday 6:00am - 02:30pm with unpaid 30 minute meal 8 hrs x 1

Friday 6:00am - 11:00am without meal 5 hrs x 1

$19 per hour

• Developing teams and building careers are central to our success. As such, we have an opportunity to perform warehouse tasks like receiving warehouse products and stocking shelves with inbound stock.
• Unload, receive and put away product as part of the Inbound Operations team
• Selecting products for individual customer orders as part of our Commissary (KCN) team
• Building, staging, and loading pallet orders
• Manage inventory in a dynamic environment, to include counting product and correcting inventory
• Leverage technology and learn WMS systems to deliver orders through the use of: mobile scan guns, modern material handling equipment, computers, tablets and more
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business

Working hours:

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

• Forklift experience required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work well with others in a dynamic, changing work environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
• Familiarity with calculators, handheld scanners, Headsets for picking, and computers including Microsoft Office programs preferred.
