The Role
The University Center for Ambulatory Surgery, LLC, is seeking a highly qualified Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all nursing staff, developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and patients.
Your leadership and expertise will be critical in ensuring the success of our nursing department.
The Role
The University Center for Ambulatory Surgery, LLC, is seeking a highly qualified Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for managing and supervising all nursing staff, developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and patients.
Your leadership and expertise will be critical in ensuring the success of our nursing department.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current and valid New Jersey nursing license
- Current BLS/ACLS Certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Certification in nursing management
- Prior Orthopedic experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting
- Experience in a similar role in a healthcare setting
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Manage and supervise all nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all staff and patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
As the Director of Nursing, you will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage and supervise all nursing staff. Your problem-solving and decision-making abilities will be critical in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Your experience in nursing management and knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems will be beneficial in this role.
Additionally, your experience with quality improvement initiatives will be valuable in collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
