Department for Persons with Disabilities (DPD) – The largest Catholic Charities Agency providing care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the U.S. We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Group Homes.
Regular Salary: $20.06 per hour Mon‑Fri; $21.06 per hour for shifts beginning 11:00 PM Friday to 11:00 PM Sunday. Non‑work time will be paid at the base rate.

What’s the role of a Direct Support Professional/Residential Counselor (DSP)?- Residential Counselor is a direct care professional whose primary responsibility is to help meet the personal health, safety and welfare of the people living in the group home.
- You will assist and/or supervise individuals in personal care areas such as bathing and toileting; participate and/or supervise in cleaning, cooking and life skills.
- Administer and/or assist with medication administration.
- You must communicate effectively with supervisors, co-workers and the individuals living in the homes.
- Drive residents to/from day programs, outside or within their community using agency vehicles.
- This position requires daily documentation of services provided.
- Assist with fun community‑based activities.

- Experience with /DD population is a plus.
- This career requires an HS diploma or equivalent.
- A valid (non‑provisional) driver’s license.
- The ability to meet the physical requirements of CPR/First Aid and our emergency evacuation procedures.
Monday, Wednesday & Friday 7:00 AM–10:30 AM & Saturday 3:00 PM–10:00 PM.
All offers of employment are contingent on the successful completion of background checks, references, DMV check, fingerprinting, pre‑employment physical and drug test, etc.
All staff must attend a monthly Staff Meeting – date/time to be determined and announced in advance.
Meeting waivers are provided for conflicts due to secondary employment and/or school (appropriate documentation required).
