Job Overview

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a skilled Powder Coater for a company located in Smithville, TN.

• Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed.
• Apply powder coating using spray guns or automated equipment, ensuring even coverage and smooth finish.
• Monitor oven temperatures and conveyor speeds to ensure proper curing of powder coating.
• Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and make necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of powder coating equipment and work area.
• Follow safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.
• Assist with other tasks in the finishing department as needed.

• Previous experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with powder coating equipment and techniques.
• Ability to interpret job orders and follow instructions accurately.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
