Duties for this position include:
• Set up, operate, and monitor profile extrusion machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Start up, shut down, and adjust extrusion lines according to established procedures.
• Monitor extrusion temperatures, pressures, speeds, and other process parameters.
• Adjust equipment and process settings to maintain consistent product quality.
• Inspect finished plastic profiles for dimensions, appearance, color, defects, and other quality requirements.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring equipment to verify product specifications.
• Perform material changes, tooling changes, and line changeovers as needed.
• Load raw materials and ensure proper material handling throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and process records.
• Identify equipment or process issues and communicate concerns to maintenance, supervision, or quality personnel.
• Perform routine cleaning, housekeeping, and basic preventative maintenance.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines.
• Meet established production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency goals.
• Work effectively with operators, maintenance personnel, quality technicians, and supervisors.
Compensation (USD):$16.00/hour
Schedule:
Monday - Thursday6:00 a.m.
- 4:00 p.m.Successful candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Previous manufacturing or extrusion experience preferred.
• Experience operating plastic extrusion equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment or process issues.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, production specifications, and safety procedures.
• Basic math skills and ability to take accurate measurements.
• Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work effectively as part of a production team.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift materials as required.
• Ability to work safely around heat, noise, plastics, lubricants, moving machinery, and other manufacturing equipment.
• Must follow all required PPE and safety procedures.
