Applicants must be a current employee of the White County Sheriff's Office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Supervision and Leadership:- Directly supervise and manage correctional deputies within the facility.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of the correctional facility.
- Maintain a secure and safe environment for both staff and inmates.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections to identify and address potential safety concerns.
- Oversee inmate activities and ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations.
- Respond to incidents and emergencies within the correctional facility.
- Provide training to correctional deputies on policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the correctional division.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing corrections facilities.
- Enforce policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
