Role Overview & Responsibilities
- Job Title: Swiss CNC Lead Machinist / Setup Operator / Programmer
- Location: Sparta, WI
- Key Duties:
- Programming and setup for Swiss-type CNC machines.
- Leading floor operations and training staff in a manufacturing environment.
- Utilizing CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) and vision systems for quality inspections.
- Applying strong GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Managing raw material inventory, ordering components, and handling production scheduling.
- Performing process improvements and optimizing machine operations.
- Experience: Hands-on machine shop background with proven Swiss CNC setup and programming expertise.
- Skills: Strong computer literacy, GD&T proficiency, inspection tool use (CMM/vision systems), leadership/training capability, and material ordering/scheduling skills.
