We have partnered with a private equity backed manufacturer that's based in Spartanburg and looking to hire a dynamic accounting professional. This is a general accounting role and offers the opportunity to work in operational and corporate accounting and finance, support monthly financials, and roll up reporting to private equity leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain confidentiality and complete records of all financial transactions
• Assisting with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits
• Reconcile bank statements and balance general ledger accounts
• Researching and correcting account discrepancies
• Aid in timely reporting of key financial and operational data
• Help prepare internal and external reporting packages
• Support with month-end and year-end closing
• Provide accounts payable and receivable support
• Assist with tax compliance
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP)
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
