An expanding company in the Greenville area is adding a Senior Accountant. The business runs several affiliated companies, and the accounting team supports all of them.
SummaryThis Senior Accountant role centers on the monthly close, multi-entity accounting, and cost analysis. The position works onsite in Greenville.

Responsibilities- Keep the books for several affiliated companies and true up balances between them each month
- Prepare account reconciliations and journal entries as part of the monthly close
- Provide cost analysis that supports operational and project decisions
- Help roll out new systems and improve workflows
- Assist with transactional accounting such as payables, payroll entries, cash activity, and customer accounts
- Degree in accounting or finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Solid working knowledge of GAAP
- Comfortable working in a mid-market accounting system
- Organized, accurate, and able to keep several deadlines moving at once
- Experience with multiple entities is a plus
- Background in an industrial or project-based environment is a plus
