Adjunct Faculty – Sport Management
Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for part‑time adjunct faculty positions in Sport Management for our on‑ground program. The successful candidate will have experience teaching undergraduate courses in sport management, with specific responsibility for teaching SPMG 320:
Sport Event Management in Spring 2026. Classes begin January 13th, 2026. Teaching contracts may be renewed on a semester‑by‑semester basis pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success.
- Teach the SPMG 320:
Sport Event Management course in Spring 2026.
- Hold at a minimum a Master’s degree in Sport Management or a related MS degree with 18 graduate hours in the Sport Management discipline.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Have experience teaching undergraduate courses.
- Have experience with Course Management Systems such as Blackboard, Canvas, or D2L.
- Be firmly committed to high‑quality instruction for first‑generation college students and be familiar with best practices in active learning pedagogies.
