ResponsibilitiesWhat are you going to do?
Works on technical assignments and project engineering tasks. Provides for the detailed execution of the mechanical engineering element within the instruction/specifications. Supports the Project Leader in the execution of the project. Finds solutions to problems and investigates applicability. Carries out calculations in order to meet the standards and decides what materials are needed. Consults Engineers with regard to coordination of the work and the execution.
Discusses deviations with the Project Leader/internal client. Contacts suppliers of components if so required, and discusses specifications and applications. Ensures the detailed execution is in accordance with the standards and statutory requirements. Provides information to the Purchasing Department regarding equipment, components, and materials to be ordered.
Bachelor’s.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology, or related field;
- Prefer 3 plus years experience;
- Lean Manufacturing concepts;
- Mechanical engineering construction and mechanics;
- 3D CAD systems – preferably Solid Works;
- Robotic Welding (MIG, TIG, Spot, Laser, etc);
- Mechatronics, pneumatics, hydraulics;
- Simulation Engineering;
- Proficiency in English;
- Ability to travel locally and overseas is required. Approx. 20%.
