Spartanburg Housing currently has an opening for an Lead Intake Specialist. This is a full‑time position.

The primary purpose of this position is to provide management and leadership support for the daily operations of processing applications for families and individuals applying for housing assistance, gathering all required documents and verifications to determine eligibility for assistance, performing required background checks, calculating, and computing rental assistance and ensuring that all vouchers are properly utilized within the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) department.

Bachelor's degree, from an accredited college or university, in Business Administration or related field, and a minimum of three (1) years of increasingly responsible experience with the Housing Choice Voucher Program. Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience, which, in the sole determination of Spartanburg Housing, provides the required knowledge and abilities, may be considered sufficient.
