Medical Equipment Delivery Technician

Position Summary

Responsible for the delivery, set-up, patient education and pick up of medical equipment.

Schedule

Mon-Fri plus on-call rotation.

Essential Job Functions
  • Be knowledgeable of Quipt policies and procedures.
  • Setup medical equipment in patients’ homes safely and timely.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork for set-up.
  • Teach patients safe and proper use of equipment and disposable supplies.
  • Instruct on cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
  • Make routine deliveries and pickups of equipment and supplies.
  • Perform minor equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Help patients remain compliant with equipment use.
  • Maintain vehicle clean, organized, and maintained.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Assist Quipt in meeting growth and financial goals.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 21 years old to drive a company vehicle.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clean motor vehicle report.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assignments timely and accurately.
  • On-call rotation is required.
