IT Project Manager, HelpDesk/Support
The IT Operations Supervisor provides planning, supervision, and technical expertise to the IT Computer Technicians and the IT Help Desk. The ITOS works with the IT team to provide technology training to the college, and works with the IT leadership team to design, implement, and communicate IT procedures that give the college a framework for IT services.
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise the IT Technicians and IT Service Desk. Make sure workloads are planned and executed. Personally provide technical support for any issues that cannot be resolved by support staff. This support includes all Windows and Apple products.
- Work with the IT team to design, implement, and communicate IT training to the college.
- Work with IT leadership to design, implement, refine, and communicate IT procedures that provide the college a framework for IT services.
- Collect, analyze, inform, and refine customer service data from our helpdesk. This includes helpdesk surveys, service ticket data, and general performance in providing and responding to IT services.
- Collect, analyze, audit, and inform on IT equipment. Responsible for all IT assets and asset management at the college, including Apple equipment.
- Identify new technology trends and recommend solutions that would benefit the College.
- Work with students each semester in our accredited technology programs, helping them to obtain hands on training and experience in our IT shop.
- Assist with other activities assigned as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field
- 5 years of experience in information technology lifecycle management and information technology service management
- Experience in process improvement– Skilled at streamlining workflows and implementing structured operational procedures
- Certifications:
A+, Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator.
Evening, weekend and overnight travel will be required as dictated by planned college events.
