UNIT CUSTODIAL DIRECTOR - SPARTANBURG, SC

Are you ready to join a team committed to excellence in facility management? We are looking for a Custodial Director to ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and security of K‑12 campus buildings and coordinate janitorial activities.

• Lead all aspects of janitorial personnel operations and deliver outstanding service.
• Supervise supervisors and employees, fostering professional growth.
• Conduct inspections, address complaints, and take corrective action.
• Maintain equipment and inventory supplies.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and staff.
• Ensure tasks are completed on time and meet high standards.
• Cross‑train personnel for multiple roles.
• Monitor and report budgetary issues.

• College degree preferred but not required.
• 1‑2 years as a supervisor in housekeeping or a service‑related field with high customer/client contact.
• Strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment to quality and customer service.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate staff.
• Understanding of budgeting processes and profit & loss concepts.
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with heavy cleaning equipment.
• Valid driver’s license.
