Position: Forklift Operator (single/double Walkie)

shifts available:

  • day (p) shift: monday - thursday, 7:00am - 5:30pm
  • night (q) shift: monday - thursday 6:00pm - 4:30am

pay rate: $20.00/hr

+$.75 shift differential for night (q) and weekend (r) shifts

purpose

safely operate any assigned powered industrial trucks (pit) such as forklifts, stand up order picker/ cherry picker as well as other powered equipment to move product around the distribution center. Accurately process orders in and out of the distribution center.

key responsibilities
  • utilize powered equipment, pick and put away product efficiently and accurately, as assigned by supervisor
  • utilize computerized warehouse management systems (wms) and radio frequency (rf) scanners to process all barcoded products
  • identify and communicate exceptions to the leadership team
  • follow all standard operating procedures (sops)
  • accurately record production by task and complete any necessary paperwork
  • ability to work overtime as needed
  • flexibility to train and work in multiple areas
  • work safely and maintain a clean work environment
  • other duties as assigned

  • ability to attain an adidas certification to safely operate any assigned powered equipment, including but not limited to: order picker, turret truck, reach truck, powered pallet jack and sit-down forklift
  • basic math skills
  • required to speak, read, write and comprehend the english language
essential functions

while performing the duties of this job, the employee is:

  • regularly required to talk or hear; sit, stand or walk; use fingers, hands, arms and feet to feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push and pull for up to twelve (12) hours/day
  • able to work safely at high levels, upwards of forty (40) feet
  • able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • able to reliably attend work/scheduled hours
  • required to safely operate power industrial equipment as noted above
  • occasionally required to sit; bending, twisting, climb or balance; lift and carry items such as boxes weighing up to fifty (50) pounds; and stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
requisite education and experience / minimum qualifications
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of six (6) months previous experience operating forklifts
  • required to speak, read, write and comprehend the english language
