ADON implements standards of resident care 24‑hour on SNF units, overseeing nursing aspects, directing and evaluating all Skilled Nursing personnel providing direct resident care within the campus.

• Maintain residents’ charts to include all admission documents, care plans, records of care, and any other documents required by state regulatory agencies.
• Operate the SNF areas in compliance with all regulations from federal, state, or other governmental agencies, and act as liaison between the campus and regulatory agencies.
• Administer resident medications, assess response, and recommend adjustments or nursing activities.
• Participate in and lead staff meetings and implement the nursing program.
• Conduct daily resident rounds and initiate corrective action as necessary.
• Attend all in‑service training and education programs as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

• College or university degree (two or four years).
• Current state licensure as a Nurse.
• Two years’ experience in a similar healthcare position.
• Five years of healthcare experience desired.
• Remain in good standing with all standards of the Nurse Practice Act.
