Strong Ophthalmology, Ortho (Mako), and Neuro Spine Experience
Description:
Position and specialty:
Operating Room Registered Nurse. No holiday requests for time off will be approved. Strong experience in ophthalmology required. Experience in orthopedic procedures and Mako technology is required. Neurosurgery and spine experience is required. Traveling OR circulator for three 12-hour shifts between Monday and Friday with varying scheduled days off each week. On-call requirements include 4-6 days in a 6-week schedule.
On-call weekends (Saturday and Sunday) approximately every 6-8 weeks, with 24-hour availability. Subject to holiday on-call during the assignment. All requests for time off must be included in the initial submission. Requests for time off made after initial submission will not be considered. Attendance policy requires that if more than two shifts are missed without reasonable explanation, the contract may be reviewed for cancellation.
Pass/Fail testing will be conducted during orientation, including a Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test and a Moderate Sedation Test. Compliance documents are due 5 business days prior to the scheduled start. Candidate must go into the lab within 24 hours after signing. No floating within the facility will be required. Recent experience with the electronic health record system is preferred but not required.
Previous permanent staff cannot return to the facility as travelers. Modules are not required.
