Spartanburg Housing currently has an opening for a full-time Groundskeeper.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:- Supervises the installation and modification of new and existing landscape project sites.
- This position directs the Prison Inmate Program and oversees the groundskeeping inmates and provides supervision.
- Coordinates with maintenance regarding work order assignments.
- Performs landscaping duties such as pruning bushes, raking leaves, cutting grass, mulching properties, and removing trash.
- Determines equipment, materials, and maintenance required, inspects, accepts, materials, supplies and equipment delivered.
High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of five (5) years of trade experience in landscaping work and at least one (1) year in leadership of supervisory capacity. Any combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the requirements of the position.
Must possess a valid South Carolina driver's license, have reliable transportation, and be insurable under Spartanburg Housing's automobile insurance plan.
