Eastside Animal Hospital operates entirely as a walk-in facility, only scheduling surgeries in advance, which guarantees that a doctor is always available during our extended business hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 7:00 pm.

This walk-in model provides you with significant opportunities to handle a high volume of diverse medical and urgent cases while maintaining necessary responsiveness. Furthermore, we actively support our Spanish-speaking clients, fostering an inclusive environment where all teammates are supported in providing comprehensive care. You will be empowered to practice modern medicine supported by the latest technology. Our facility is equipped with comprehensive diagnostics, including full digital imaging capabilities, and advanced tools such as electrocautery surgery.

This means we can quickly reach accurate diagnoses and implement effective care plans for our patients. We are fully equipped to handle emergencies during our business hours and prioritize preventative medicine through affordable Wellness Plans specifically designed for cats and dogs of all ages, ensuring you can deliver the highest standard of proactive care. Impact as a Licensed Veterinary Technician
  • Utilize Your Full Skillset:
    You'll be a vital part of the medical team, providing comprehensive patient care, including administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia, and performing lab work.
  • Be a Leader and Mentor:
    You’ll guide and support the medical team, ensuring an efficient workflow while mentoring others to help them grow their skills and careers.
  • Partner with Clients:
    You'll be a key point of contact for pet owners, educating them on treatments, reviewing medical records, and confidently answering their questions.
  • Contribute to a Positive Culture:
    You'll play an active role in training, providing feedback, and maintaining the high standards of our hospital environment.
What You'll Bring To The Team
  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technician program.
  • A current state veterinary technician license (LVT) in good standing.
  • Proficiency in a range of technical skills, including nursing, surgery, dental care, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
  • A calm and efficient approach, especially in fast-paced or stressful situations.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for working collaboratively.
  • One year of experience in the veterinary industry is preferred.
