Position Summary

As a Bartender, you will serve all alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, maintain a professional presence in a fast‑paced environment, ensure excellent attendance, and support events as scheduled.

Compensation

Hourly rate: $12.00–$15.00, tip eligible.

Responsibilities

• Meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co‑workers, and uniform standards.
• Follow bar pre‑shift notes and bar menus, providing service as described.
• Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and state/federal regulations.
• Know beer, wine, and spirit varieties; suggestively upsell products to guests.
• Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving‑size standards.
• Check guest IDs to verify minimum age requirements for alcoholic beverages.
• Communicate a cut‑off to guests as required.
• Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• De‑escalate intoxicated guest situations; contact management or security as needed.
• Contact management if unable to resolve situations beyond scope of standard decision‑making.
• Request additional product or restock as required.
• Handle cash accurately; responsible for issued bank at bar.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation at all times; keep bar equipment clean and well‑maintained.
• Perform other duties as assigned, such as set‑up and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization.

Qualifications

• Six months or more experience bartending.
• Accurate cash handling skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑directed while working in a team‑oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and long hours.
