As a Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will use computer or tablet tools to support badge and access control activities, assist with loss prevention, and provide outstanding customer service in a limited-facilities setting.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology and logistics-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate logs in accordance with site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity or potential concerns.

+ Assist with access control, package and delivery processes, and other security-related duties that support orderly operations at the location.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
