Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Spearfish, South Dakota
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Compensation: Up to $1,800 per week (based on experience)

Job Description

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in planning and implementing therapeutic programs for patients of all ages.
  • Help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and work activities.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the therapy and nursing teams.
  • Maintain treatment areas and equipment in a clean and safe manner.
  • Provide compassionate and personalized care to promote patient independence and recovery.
  • Educate patients and families on exercises, equipment use, and rehabilitation strategies.
  • Adhere to facility and professional standards while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
Education & Certification Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program .
  • Active COTA license in the state of South Dakota (or eligibility to obtain).
  • NBCOT certification required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing, acute, or outpatient rehab setting preferred.
