Base Pay Range

$63,240.00/yr - $74,632.00/yr

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in all aspects of hotel operations, day-to-day staff management, and guest services.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Handle guest complaints and oversee service recovery processes.
  • Assist in managing the budget and ensure revenue and guest satisfaction goals are met.
  • Contribute to developing short- and long-term strategic goals for performance improvement.
  • Understand the P&L statement.
  • Meet all report deadlines daily, weekly, and at month end.
  • Work closely with department managers and the general manager to maximize room yield and hotel revenue.
  • Oversee and manage all departments and coordinate with department heads daily.
  • Maintain effective communication between departments and the general manager.
  • Be responsible for occupational health, fire, and life safety.
  • Strive to improve service performance.
  • Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others, leading by example.
  • Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
  • Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
  • Communicate clear and consistent messages regarding processes throughout all departments.
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and meet customer expectations daily.
  • Support different departments in their daily operations.
  • Identify developmental needs of others and coach, mentor, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
  • Hotel management experience required; hospitality degree preferred.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Warm and welcoming personality, able to engage easily and actively connect with others.
  • Genuinely caring and compassionate, visibly demonstrating a desire to understand others.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and insight for finding the best solutions to unclear situations.
  • Create confidence and trust while communicating the right message at the right time.
  • Comfortable conversing with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and all organizational levels.
  • Direct yet tactful and considerate of the audience.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Available on days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Clean professional appearance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager.

Minimum requirements:

Physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods; read and visually verify information in a variety of formats; manipulate objects of varying size and weight; lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 25 pounds.
