Hospitalist NW Iowa - no procedures

Seeking a board certified or board eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics physician interested in joining one physician and two advanced practice providers as a Hospitalist.

• Employed position
• Market area 30,000 population
• 99 bed facility, community-owned
• • 15 behavioral health bed unit
  • 49 acute care beds
• Rotating schedule of 7 days on 7 off.
• Shift starts on Monday at 7am and ends the following Monday at 7am.
• Two call shifts 7pm to 7am required during week hospitalist is scheduled, with one occurring during the week and one on the weekend.
• Partnership with eHospitalist team for backup coverage

• Population is 4,840, and is within the greater Iowa Great Lakes year-round population of 10,300, that swells to nearly 100,000 in the summer months with summer residents and tourists
