• Planning, directing and organizing health services of the Nursing Home in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines
• Provide evaluation, training and consistent oversight of caregivers and work assignments
• Assist with internal and external marketing and events to meet occupancy goals
• Ability to build effective working relationships and a positive team atmosphere with people of all backgrounds
• Possess initiative, good judgment and leadership ability to work well with the community, residents, families and staff
• Possess understanding and compassion for the elderly population

• Graduate of a state board approved LPN program
• Currently licensed as an LPN in the state of Iowa
• Experience with long‑term care programs
• Successful completion of LPN Supervisory course within 6 months of employment
• One year of supervisory experience
  
  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Heart for working with the elderly
