** Position Highlights
**** Spencer Hospital is a rural hospital located in northwest Iowa employing over 500+ employees. Positions at Spencer Hospital are not affiliated with Avera; however, we collaborate to provide services to the communities we serve. **** Responsibilities:
*** Responsible for utilizing the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care in the ICU
* Assumes the responsibility for the outcome of nursing care during a specified work period
* Collaborates with all available nursing personnel to provide total patient care
* Must have knowledge of and utilize appropriate age-related patient protocols relating to the physical and psychological needs of patients
** Requirements:
*** Must be a caring communicator, flexible, able to multitask and be comfortable with technological systems
* IA RN license
* BLS, ACLS, PALS and TNCC are required - inhouse education available upon hire
* One year of Medical/Surgical preferred or critical care experience
* New grads with a strong desire for critical care are encouraged to apply

* Schedule:

*** 72 hours a pay period
* Straight nights - self scheduling
* 12 hour shifts 6:30p-7a
* The schedule may fluctuate based upon the needs of the department
