Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring an IA or compact RN license and critical care experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at a hospital
- Night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
- Assignment is for 13 weeks
- Weekend rotation required
- May float to Med/Surg, Emergency Department (ED), or other nursing departments based on census
- Provide skilled and compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients
- Must be comfortable floating to other units as needed
- Participation in weekend rotations is required
- Active IA or compact state RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Current certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are helpful but not required
