Sage Group Health Care  Staffing is seeking Behavioral Health Registered Nurses for travel /contract position in Spencer, IA.
Accepting both local and traveler candidates.

Contract Length: 13 weeks-Accepting Local and Travel Candidates

Pay Rate:

Range $2160 to $2235 weekly Gross pay (Non-taxable travel/housing and M&I stipend available for qualified/eligible travelers)

Shift :
12 Hours;
Nights, 7p-7.30a or Days, 7a-7.30p

Schedule : 36 hours / week guaranteed, 3 shifts per week, every other weekend

• Registered Nurse: 2 years
  - Required
• Recent/Current Psychiatric Nursing or Behavioral health in an adult inpatient unit: 2 years – Required
• Must be willing to float to other medical units as needed such as med surg

• ASN or an equivalent – Required
• BSN or an equivalent – Highly preferred
• RN License for State of IA or Multi-State
  - Required
• CPI Certification
  - Preferred
• BLS and ACLS Certifications fromAHA
  - Required

• Provide all aspects of Psychiatric Nursing care for patients in an adult inpatient psych unit.
• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes, implementation, and evaluation.
• Float to other medical units when needed such as med surg.
• Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
• Prepares, administers, and records medications in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications.
• Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
• Participates in multidisciplinary treatment planning and revises plan of care based on assessment.
