Delivery Driver

• Our Distribution team plays a vital role in our company. Without timely and accurate service from us, our stores cant get needed automotive parts and supplies to local repair shops, body shops, commercial and agriculture operations.

Our Drivers lead the charge in ensuring timely, accurate, and safe delivery. We need a great driver to deliver to our stores Monday-Friday. This is a night route that starts work at 5:00 pm and will deliver to seven of our stores in Northwest IA.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely delivery of product to multiple regional stores leaving in the early evening from Spencer, IA (Monday-Friday, typically 5:00 pm 2:30 am)

• Maintain safe and clean equipment
• Ensure the highest levels of safety practices in all that you do!
• Be home every day!

• Class A CDL with air brake endorsement;
  Hazmat endorsement or able to obtain
• At least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Must have a safe, insurable (no SR-22) driving record/MVR
• Desire to work in a customer-focused environment!
• Excellent communication skills and a focused, positive attitude
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Physical/Other Requirements

• Pre-employment drug screen is required
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Safely operating company vehicle(s)
• Load and unload trailer, individually or with the assistance of others and/or freight handling equipment
• Standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking and sitting. Perform frequent lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying of freight.
• Basic computer proficiency; ability to utilize telephone
