Forklift Operator

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Forklift Operators for a third-party logistics and warehousing company in Spencer, IA. In this role, you'll help keep products moving efficiently throughout a large distribution center while supporting inventory accuracy and warehouse organization. Operate powered industrial forklifts to move, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse

Complete daily forklift inspections and follow all operating procedures and safety guidelines

Load and unload trucks, receive shipments, and put away inventory

Pick products and transport materials accurately using scanning equipment

Assist with inventory control and maintain organized warehouse storage areas

Identify and report damaged products, inventory shortages, or discrepancies

Replace propane tanks and/or charge forklift batteries as needed

High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience

At least 1 year of forklift or lift truck operating experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred

Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Forklift certification (training provided)

SAP scanning experience is a plus

Inventory control experience preferred

Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment and follow established procedures

Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements, if applicable
