Forklift Operator – 2nd Shift

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Forklift Operators for a warehouse and distribution company in Spencer, IA. In this role, you'll help move and organize inventory, support efficient warehouse operations, and ensure products are received and shipped accurately. Operate powered industrial forklifts to move, stack, and organize products throughout the warehouse

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using scanning equipment

Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues as needed

Maintain accurate inventory records and identify damaged or missing products

Keep shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas clean and organized

Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet productivity goals

Ability to obtain forklift certification (training provided)

Previous forklift operation experience preferred, including RF/SAP scanning equipment

Ability to read, write, perform basic math, and follow written and verbal instructions

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and work in a warehouse environment throughout the shift

Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally

Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays during peak season
