This hospital-based outpatient cancer center operates as part of a cancer institute group, providing specialized hematology and oncology services within a structured ambulatory clinic environment. The facility is supported by a clinical team of 7 physicians and 7 advanced practice providers to facilitate coordinated oncologic care delivery. Established clinical protocols are in place to support quality hematologic and oncologic care on a locum tenens basis.

The area surrounding this assignment offers clinicians access to a range of historical, cultural, and outdoor attractions suited to varied interests. Regional highlights include opportunities for coastal recreation, scenic day trips, and exploration of local cultural destinations. The area supports year-round activities and is served by accessible public transit options connecting to surrounding communities.

Clinicians will provide on-site outpatient hematology and oncology coverage within an ambulatory clinic setting on a full-time day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call or weekend obligations required. The clinical scope encompasses the evaluation and management of general hematologic and oncologic conditions for an adult patient population, with 0-3 new consults anticipated per day;

new consult appointments are allotted 1 hour and follow-up visits are allotted 30 minutes. All clinical documentation must be maintained through the EPIC EMR system for all patient encounters and treatment planning activities.
