Are you a highly motivated, enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse looking for a supportive and vibrant new environment? We are seeking dedicated educators to inspire pupils aged 3-5 within a school setting.

The Role:

Our client school in the Ferryhill area is looking for a full‑time Teaching Assistant / Nursery Nurse to work in their Nursery provision. This is a great school with a fantastic and supportive headteacher, and for the right person, this could become permanent.

• Supporting children within the classroom, including working with small groups independently
• Assessment: Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils
• Classroom Management: Create a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment where all children feel valued and encouraged to succeed
• Safeguarding: Uphold the school's robust safeguarding policies and promote the welfare of all pupils
• Collaboration: Work effectively within a team, share best practices, and communicate effectively with parents and carers

A recognised qualification for supporting children within EYFS
.
Proven experience of supporting within a primary school setting
A strong understanding of the EYFS Curriculum
Excellent behaviour management skills with a calm empathetic approach
Commitment to continuous professional development and contributing to school life
Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
