Support Young People to Succeed – Inclusion Support Assistant, Ferryhill

Are you passionate about helping young people reach their full potential? A specialist SEMH school in Ferryhill is seeking Inclusion Support Assistants to provide dedicated support to pupils who require additional emotional, behavioural and educational guidance.

What You'll Do
  • Support pupils throughout their daily learning journey
  • Deliver mentoring and intervention programmes
  • Promote positive behaviour and wellbeing
  • Help pupils develop confidence and resilience
  • Work closely with teachers and support staff
  • Track and report on pupil progress
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience working with children or young people
  • Compassionate and patient nature
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
  • Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
