SEN HLTA Required – Ferryhill PRU

Are you an experienced HLTA looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people?

A specialist PRU in Ferryhill is seeking a confident and compassionate SEN HLTA to support pupils who require additional academic, behavioural and emotional support. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve success.

• Deliver intervention programmes tailored to individual pupil needs
• Lead learning activities across a range of subjects
• Support pupils with SEND, SEMH and behavioural needs
• Build positive relationships that encourage engagement and progress
• Work collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing

• HLTA qualification or relevant experience
• Previous experience within alternative provision, PRU or SEND settings
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Resilient, empathetic and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
