Protocol Education are recruiting an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist school in Ferryhill
, supporting pupils aged 4–19 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex learning needs.

The Role- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Support pupils with communication, sensory and emotional regulation needs.
- Promote positive behaviour through structured routines and visual learning strategies.
- Assist teachers with engaging classroom activities.
- Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable.
- An understanding of autism and associated learning needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
