Protocol Education is recruiting qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants for full-time opportunities within primary schools in Ferryhill, Durham
.
We're looking for enthusiastic education professionals who can provide high-quality classroom support, work with pupils who have additional needs and deliver engaging interventions. You'll be part of a team focused on helping every child feel included and supported.
Role Details- Full-time
- September 2026 start
- Monday-Friday
- 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:00pm
- Term-time only
- Long-term placement with permanent opportunities
- Assisting with teaching and learning across the curriculum
- Supporting small-group and individual interventions
- Providing one-to-one support where appropriate
- Helping pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
- Preparing resources for classroom activities
- Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
- Supporting pupils' confidence and independence
- Working closely with class teachers and support staff
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Previous experience in a school or educational setting
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
