Protocol Education is recruiting qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistants for full-time opportunities within primary schools in Ferryhill, Durham
.

We're looking for enthusiastic education professionals who can provide high-quality classroom support, work with pupils who have additional needs and deliver engaging interventions. You'll be part of a team focused on helping every child feel included and supported.

• Full-time
• September 2026 start
• Monday-Friday
• 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:00pm
• Term-time only
• Long-term placement with permanent opportunities

• Assisting with teaching and learning across the curriculum
• Supporting small-group and individual interventions
• Providing one-to-one support where appropriate
• Helping pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Preparing resources for classroom activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
• Supporting pupils' confidence and independence
• Working closely with class teachers and support staff

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Previous experience in a school or educational setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
