SEND Behaviour & Learning Mentor – Ferryhill (Full-Time)

Protocol Education is recruiting a full-time SEND Behaviour & Learning Mentor for a specialist school in Ferryhill
.

Working with pupils who have a range of additional needs, you'll provide the consistency, encouragement and positive role modelling they need to engage with education. The school offers a structured and supportive environment where staff work together to help every pupil make progress.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
  • Helping pupils regulate emotions and manage challenges
  • Building positive relationships based on trust
  • Supporting classroom learning and individual targets
  • Developing pupils' confidence and independence
  • Reinforcing positive choices and achievements
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
