The Oaks Secondary School in Spennymoor, County Durham, is seeking a Teaching Assistant on a permanent, full-time basis (37 hours per week). The role operates term time only plus 10 days and requires delivering SEN support to pupils aged 11–19 with complex needs.
Applicants should hold NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent (NNEB, CACHE Diploma in Nursery Nursing) and have experience working with individuals or groups with SEN. DBS disclosure is required.
