The School and RoleOn behalf of Advanced Learning Partnership, we are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly school in Spennymoor, DL16. Workingas part of an established team, the Teaching Assistant will be supporting a child in Year 1 with additional needs on a 1:1 basis. The needs of the child includes Autism and sensory awareness. The role would be 5 days a week, 8.30am – 3.30pm.
Experience working with children with SEND would be essential. The school has a supportive senior leadership team and can be accessed on public transport.
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
