Regional Generator Engineer

As a Regional Generator Engineer you will play a pivotal role in the success of the region by ensuring that customers can hire the equipment they need, when they need it. This includes the efficient servicing and maintenance of a variety of power services and equipment up to 500 kVA within the GAP fleet.

Based out of our Durham depot, the role requires regular travel across customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment such as Stage V Generators, AMF/MDU panels, distribution and cable systems. You will also be responsible for accurately updating service records.

• Proven experience within a diesel generator engineer role is essential.
• Sound and current knowledge of diesel engines and generators is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• A customer‑focused approach, strong workload management and a commitment to teamwork.
• A valid driving licence would be preferable but is not essential.
